Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex enterprise software systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineers, planners, and administrative staff, to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data models, API specifications, and user manuals.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Train junior staff and provide technical guidance on best practices for government IT operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or IT consulting within a government or large-scale corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience with requirements gathering, UML modeling, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or Python, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background investigation.
