Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of systems analysis, design, and implementation for critical municipal applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including city managers and department heads, to define business requirements and technical specifications.
- Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and system reliability across all government platforms.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior analysts and developers.
- Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and system optimization to enhance user experience.
- Prepare technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting, with at least 2 years in a public sector or government environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, C#, and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
