Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth requirements analysis and stakeholder interviews to define system specifications for government projects.
- Design, develop, and test complex software solutions ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Lead the documentation of technical architecture, data flows, and system requirements documents (SRS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize legacy systems.
- Perform system performance tuning, security audits, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on best practices and coding standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within the constraints of government budgeting cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in systems analysis, preferably within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity and security.
