Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for state-wide systems.
- Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions using modern programming languages and cloud technologies.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical system outages to ensure business continuity.
- Conduct thorough system testing and quality assurance to meet strict state compliance and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C# with a strong understanding of database management systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of state government IT frameworks, security protocols (ISO 27001, NIST), and procurement regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
