Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for system design and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Design, develop, and implement complex database queries, reports, and data migration scripts to support agency reporting needs.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software functionality aligns with requirements.
- Document system processes, workflows, and technical documentation to maintain knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on best practices and system architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or software development within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python) is required.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman, is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated experience working with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Ability to obtain a State Security Clearance and pass a thorough background check.
