Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for state-level software solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of IT systems, ensuring compliance with state security and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, developers, and state agency stakeholders.
- Conduct system performance testing and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on best practices for public sector software architecture.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party system integrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Proven experience working with SQL, Python, and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project lifecycle management.
- Experience with state government systems or public sector IT projects is highly preferred.
