Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems and software applications for state agencies.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural solutions.
- Perform system performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and government stakeholders, to deliver projects on time.
- Ensure strict compliance with state data privacy laws and cybersecurity regulations.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, or Database Administration.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative government environment.
