Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and radio communications
- Coordinate response between police, fire, EMS, and other agencies
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during emergencies
- Monitor multiple radio channels simultaneously
- Utilize mapping software for precise location tracking
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Clear criminal background and driving record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Basic computer literacy and multi-tasking proficiency
- Strong emotional stability under high-pressure situations
