What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Manage and respond to service tickets and inquiries generated by weekend staff.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management on government servers and workstations.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software configurations.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the weekday support team to ensure seamless continuity of services.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, technical help desk, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
- Understanding of government data privacy and security compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Must be available to work a weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) as required by state policy.
