Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for state agency employees.
- Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet connections.
- Respond to service tickets and resolve technical issues within agreed-upon SLAs.
- Conduct regular system audits and ensure data security compliance.
- Assist in the deployment of new software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Server environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven government environment.
