Responsibilities
- Manage and process complex caseloads for state assistance programs efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct thorough interviews and home visits to assess eligibility and needs of applicants.
- Analyze demographic data to identify trends and improve service delivery.
- Prepare detailed case files and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with local community organizations to refer clients to necessary resources.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on policy changes and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in government or social services sector.
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania state regulations and welfare policies.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and medical screening.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
