Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the movement of inmates and visitors within the facility perimeter.
- Conduct routine security checks and inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, disturbances, or medical incidents.
- Document daily activities, observations, and infractions accurately in shift logs.
- Enforce facility rules, regulations, and state laws consistently and fairly.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and the general public.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency status.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years (background check required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive medical and psychological evaluation.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
