Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming correspondence, applications, and official documents with high accuracy.
- Maintain and organize complex filing systems, both digital and physical, in accordance with state records management regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, visitors, and state employees via phone and in-person inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and presentations for departmental leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of weekend administrative functions.
- Verify data entry and ensure compliance with internal security and privacy policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary government software quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Ability to pass a standard background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting as required by state law.
