Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for state employees.
- Monitor system performance and execute routine maintenance tasks during off-hours.
- Perform software patches, security updates, and system backups to ensure data protection.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory configurations.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to escalate and resolve complex incidents.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent technical certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Office 365.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to public service.
