Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the State of Ohio’s core IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive state data.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to identify technical requirements and develop scalable solutions.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead training sessions for staff regarding new technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
