Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and wand screenings as required
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to alarms or suspicious activity
- Enforce TSA security policies and procedures consistently
- Operate advanced imaging technology and security equipment
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and screenings
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background investigation and drug test
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- No prior felony convictions
- Valid driver's license (if required for position)
