Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using advanced X-ray machines and manual inspection techniques
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and explosive detection trace procedures
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to potential threats with professional protocols
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate operational reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergency situations
- Operate TSA equipment including baggage scanners and metal detectors

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Security Screening badge
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
