Responsibilities
- Operate advanced screening equipment (X-ray, metal detectors) to detect prohibited items
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screenings following TSA protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers during security procedures
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities in compliance with federal guidelines
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security operations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of security procedures and sensitive information
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and medical assessment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- No felony convictions and clean employment history
