Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using X-ray scanners and manual inspection techniques
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to potential threats with calm professionalism
- Operate advanced detection equipment including millimeter wave scanners and ETD devices
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches when required by security protocols
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate checkpoint logs
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security regulations

Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent residency status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Valid government-issued photo identification
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods in high-stress environments
- Must pass TSA Security Screening Test (SST)
