Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines and trace detectors to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct physical screenings and pat-downs following TSA protocols
- Monitor checkpoints to detect prohibited items and security threats
- Provide excellent customer service to diverse travelers
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Pass TSA-mandated security screening training
