Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and screening equipment to detect prohibited items
- Conduct thorough physical and electronic screening of passengers and carry-on luggage
- Enforce TSA security protocols with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Respond to security incidents and emergency situations calmly
- Maintain accurate documentation of security activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security breaches
- Train on advanced screening technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds
- Proficiency in English with basic computer literacy
- Previous security or customer service experience preferred
