Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using advanced scanning technology
- Conduct thorough physical searches and pat-downs as required by security protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activities or anomalies
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other TSA-approved equipment
- Enforce TSA regulations while maintaining professional customer service standards
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security technology
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No felony convictions and clean employment history
