Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced detection technologies
- Enforce TSA security protocols with precision and professionalism while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Identify and resolve potential security threats through keen observation and analytical skills
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive detection systems with high accuracy
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel to ensure seamless security operations
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed records of screening activities
- Stay current on evolving security procedures and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or security screening experience
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in operating screening equipment and security technologies
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
