Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using advanced scanning equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections following TSA protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity with professionalism
- Operate X-ray machines, explosive detection systems, and other security technology
- Enforce security regulations while maintaining excellent customer service
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate inspection records
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during security escalations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid government security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods in fast-paced environments
