Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage at security checkpoints using advanced scanning equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections per TSA protocols
- Monitor security areas and identify suspicious items or activities
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive detection systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents and screenings
- Enforce TSA regulations while providing courteous customer service
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Must pass TSA Security Screening Test (training provided)
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
