Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and checked baggage using X-ray machines and advanced imaging technology.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols strictly to prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas.
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service to travelers, assisting those with special needs or inquiries.
- Identify and resolve potential security threats while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Operate and monitor security equipment, including metal detectors, walk-through arches, and trace wands.
- Document incidents, violations, and irregularities accurately in security logs.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of security professionals to maintain high standards of safety.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and a medical examination.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
