Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced screening technology (X-ray machines, metal detectors, and body scanners).
- Patrol and monitor screening checkpoints to identify potential threats and security breaches.
- Assist travelers by answering questions and providing guidance through security procedures.
- Operate and monitor security screening equipment, identifying prohibited items and reporting anomalies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all screening areas comply with TSA regulations.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is mandatory for this position.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Must be able to pass a federal background check and security clearance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and the ability to distinguish colors.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to operate equipment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
