Responsibilities
- Operate advanced screening equipment (X-ray, CT scanners, metal detectors) to detect prohibited items
- Conduct physical searches of passengers, baggage, and cargo following TSA protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints to identify and resolve potential threats
- Communicate professionally with travelers regarding security procedures
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergencies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Customer service experience preferred
