Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and walk-through detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and bag inspections as required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes
- Operate advanced security technology (EDS, ETD) and alert systems
- Maintain security checkpoints following TSA protocols
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies calmly
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel
- Document security activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Valid U.S. driver's license or state ID
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
