Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and manual inspection techniques
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections to detect prohibited itemsOperate advanced security technology and maintain equipment functionality
- Enforce TSA security regulations with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service to diverse travelers
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal residency status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
- Valid US driver's license (if applicable to position duties)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
