Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screenings at security checkpoints
- Operate advanced X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Identify and report prohibited items according to TSA regulations
- Maintain accurate screening documentation and incident reports
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergencies
- Participate in continuous training and security drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license (if required for post assignment)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills
- No felony convictions or recent drug offenses
