Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes
- Monitor security checkpoints via CCTV systems (remote component)
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement
- Maintain detailed security logs and reports (remote component)
- Train on advanced threat detection technologies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain TSA Security Officer certification
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish bilingual a plus
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for remote administrative tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
