Responsibilities
- Perform screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and property using X-ray machines and metal detectors.
- Identify and intercept prohibited items to ensure the safety of the airport.
- Interact professionally and courteously with travelers of all backgrounds.
- Document screening results and maintain strict adherence to security protocols.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient screening environment.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a federal background check, drug screen, and medical assessment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years (excluding certain minor offenses).
