Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and advanced imaging technology accurately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide clear, courteous communication to travelers.
- Adhere to all TSA security protocols, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Perform regular pat-downs and physical searches when necessary.
- Document security incidents and report irregularities immediately to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation, medical screening, and drug test.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Excellent vision (with or without correction) and attention to detail.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
