Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines, walk-through metal detectors, and trace detection equipment to screen passengers and carry-on baggage
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections per TSA protocols
- Verify travel documents and confirm passenger identity against boarding passes
- Respond to security alerts and escalate potential threats to supervisory personnel
- Maintain accurate screening logs and incident reports
- Provide courteous customer service to travelers during screening procedures

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and medical assessment
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills for documentation and equipment operation
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Previous security or customer service experience preferred
