Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections as required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes for compliance
- Respond to security alerts and suspicious activity reports
- Maintain accurate screening logs and incident documentation
- Operate advanced screening technology and equipment
- Enforce TSA security protocols with professionalism and courtesy
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or national status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn technical systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- No felony convictions or certain misdemeanor convictions
