Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct thorough physical pat-downs and baggage inspections
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activities
- Enforce TSA security protocols and SOPs
- Provide excellent customer service to diverse travelers
- Document security incidents and screening activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass TSA background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for 4+ hours continuously
- Basic computer literacy and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in high-stress environments
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- No felony convictions or disqualifying employment history
