Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using advanced X-ray technology and manual detection methods
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections to identify prohibited items
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to potential security threats per established protocols
- Operate metal detectors, explosive trace detection systems, and other security equipment
- Enforce TSA regulations while maintaining professional demeanor during passenger interactions
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Security Screening clearance
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Successful completion of TSA background investigation and drug screening
- Valid California driver's license (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
