Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines, CT scanners, and explosive detection systems
- Conduct physical screenings of passengers and carry-on baggage
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes for compliance
- Respond to security alerts and escalate suspicious items appropriately
- Maintain accurate screening logs and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers
- Adhere to TSA protocols and SOPs at all times
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours)
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and observational abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays
- Must pass TSA Pre-Check certification training
