Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray scanners and metal detectors to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct physical searches and pat-downs as required by security protocols
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes against passenger manifests
- Monitor security checkpoints and report suspicious activities or items
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security incidents
- Maintain accurate logs of security screening activities
- Provide customer service to travelers during screening processes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid U.S. driver's license (if required for shift rotations)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for document verification systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends/holidays
