Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of federal program compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, and OMB regulations
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for regulatory violations
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces on policy standardization
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for congressional oversight committees
- Train federal staff on updated regulatory requirements
- Manage confidential data systems with FISMA compliance
- Represent agency at regional regulatory hearings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Advanced proficiency in GSA systems and federal databases
- Certification in Federal Compliance Management (FCM) required
- Demonstrated experience with audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA)
