Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory compliance across VA programs
- Conduct audits and investigations to ensure adherence to 38 CFR and HIPAA standards
- Develop compliance training materials for staff across multiple facilities
- Collaborate with legal counsel on policy updates and regulatory changes
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for federal oversight agencies
- Lead cross-functional teams during compliance remediation projects
- Advise senior leadership on emerging regulatory risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Expertise in federal procurement and grant regulations (FAR, DFARS)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFCM) preferred
- Excellent written communication with report-writing expertise
