Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal compliance standards across VA healthcare facilities
- Conduct regulatory audits and prepare detailed compliance reports
- Develop corrective action plans for identified compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy interpretation and implementation
- Train staff on new federal regulations and compliance procedures
- Manage compliance documentation and reporting systems
- Coordinate with external regulatory agencies during inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance or auditing experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA, VA regulations, and federal procurement laws
- Proficiency with compliance management software (e.g., FedTrack, Deltek)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with federal grant management preferred
