Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly operations of state facilities and emergency response protocols
- Coordinate with federal/local agencies during critical incidents and disaster response
- Supervise night shift staff including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Conduct routine security audits and compliance checks for state properties
- Maintain detailed incident logs and submit shift reports to state leadership
- Implement emergency procedures during off-hours crises
- Manage resource allocation and budget controls for night operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in government/public safety supervision role
- Active Virginia State Security Clearance (Level 3+)
- Valid Virginia Driver's License with clean record
- FEMA certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong crisis management and decision-making skills
- Proficient in state reporting systems (VA-DPS Portal)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background investigation
