Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using government databases and stakeholder interviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement policy initiatives
- Monitor federal and state legislative developments affecting Georgia residents
- Present findings to legislative committees and public forums
- Ensure compliance with Georgia Sunshine Laws and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government or public sector policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of Georgia's legislative process and administrative framework
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proven track record of delivering policy recommendations under tight deadlines
