Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools.
- Implement and manage security controls in accordance with NIST and DoD standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure software development lifecycles.
- Document security policies and conduct regular compliance audits.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and stakeholders on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI access.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in federal or DoD cybersecurity environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and encryption standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
