Role Overview
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and a proven track record in contract management. You will act as the primary liaison between our company and federal stakeholders, ensuring that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of federal contracts from pre-award through closeout, ensuring strict adherence to FAR and agency-specific regulations.
- Prepare, review, and submit complex proposals and bids in response to federal RFPs and RFQs.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Identify potential risks and negotiate modifications or amendments with government clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, technical, and program management, to align contract terms with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and generate detailed reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Secret security clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contract management or procurement.
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contract language and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with high-level government officials.
