Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Networks: Oversee and maintain the security and integrity of federal information systems and networks.
- Provide Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues for government personnel and agencies.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to strict federal standards, security protocols, and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
- System Implementation: Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions.
- Data Analysis: Monitor system performance metrics and generate reports to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support federal mission-critical projects.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold (or be able to obtain) a Secret Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for briefing government stakeholders.
