Responsibilities
- Manage and support the agency's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Perform hardware and software troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% system availability for federal staff.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive federal data and information systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and support personnel.
- Conduct regular system audits and compliance checks in accordance with federal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration within a government or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Cisco networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and federal information security regulations (FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
