Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure within the federal environment.
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems, ensuring compliance with strict security protocols and government regulations.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices for federal personnel.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts, responding immediately to potential threats or service outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve workflow efficiency.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and incidents to maintain a robust knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Active eligibility to obtain a Federal Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
- Professional certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration within a government or corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of federal IT policies, including NIST frameworks and FISMA requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
